Oh my goodness, I am the same way! We don't have children yet, but we plan to start trying in the fall. *fingers crossed* I know I want to cloth diaper, but I don't know anyone who does and I don't know where to start. So all I can go by is what I find on the internet, which is how I cam across your post. :D If you have any tips, I would be more than happy to hear them.

It seems though that every time I change a diaper in public everyone seems to ignore what I'm using. Hopefully one day I'll get a "What's that?" question!

We still have 8 weeks to go, but I'm totally in love with cloth and have been raving about it for months. I've done so much research, have consulted friends who've done it, convinced my entire extended family that it's awesome (my 85-year-old grandmother, who did all 4 of her children in old school cloth nappies and plastic pants, thinks FuzziBunz are the best thing since sliced bread), and have even helped one of my friends who recently became a mom figure out what she needs to cloth diaper and how to do it. I'm so excited about cloth diapering, and I'm so glad there are so many people out there willing to share their stories and advice who help make it fun and easy for other new moms who are interested in trying it out. :)
