Fluff Friday 216
1 Moby Wrap
a Rafflecopter giveaway
I wore the first one, I will waer the next one! My husband even said that he would wear the baby if I let him! Do they make Moby big enough for 3x male?? lol
I loved my pseudo-Moby Wrap when my second was a newborn. He would snuggle up and snooze forever!
I wear my toddler, and I would say the best tip for baby wearing is to make sure you have an extra shirt FOR YOU! (You have no idea how many times I realized he leaked and it was all over my front! lol)
I would LOVE to win this
Love Moby wraps!
I either use a sling or our infantino flip2front carrier. My tip – if it hurts, he's not in there right! Baby wearing is supposed to be comfortable, not painful
Ohhh…would love this!
I tried multiple carriers and the one that worked best for me was the ergo/bjorn. I'd love to try a moby wrap for my 3rd baby!
babywearing is the best! many kids will hit a brief phase where they may insist on being face out. Moby use to have on their site a outward facing hold. It's not the most comfortable one but it will get you through those few times where it is a must. Last I checked they had to taken off the site, but there are people on youtube who demonstrate it. I used it with the boba wrap.
I couldn't with my first (reflux issues) but I would love to try again with future children!
I think I commented it just hasn't shown yet. Would love to win this! Yes we babywear
I want to wear my baby when LO comes!
Yes, I wear my baby but I'm just starting out. So I'm still getting used to it. I would love to hear other's tips though. BTW a moby is a lot easier to use than I thought it would be.
I don't have a baby (yet – check back in four months!), but I plan to wear my baby everywhere when he/she arrives in late April!
Yes! Love to wear my baby!!
My baby is not here yet, but I am going to babywear as much as I can! I wish I had tips to offer.
I don't have a baby, yet. I am expecting baby #1! I do plan on baby wearing!
My daughter is not here yet, but I am going to wear her as much as possible. I wish I had some tips to offer!
I have several friends who are pregnant and would love a moby wrap!
We do babywear! A tip I have it to wear baby when the baby is fussy. It calms baby right down (even if you are cleaning )
I don't yet but I will when my second son comes in March!
Used a similar wrap (an Amazona) for my first, but would have preferred a Moby because of the stretchy fabric.
i love baby wearing!! we have a beco but i have been dying to try some wraps!!
I wore my daughter all the time. My tip is to find a carrier that works for you and you'll be multi-tasking in no time!
I plan to wear my little man after he's born… love the idea of the Moby!
I am due in a few weeks, and I am looking forward to being able to 'wear' by baby. Our first I wasn't comfortable with the sling I had for him, and I really want to try a wrap this time.
I really want to try wearing my baby in a wrap this time around. Last time we had a sling, but it was cumbersome to wear. I know with a 3year old a wrap would be ideal for trying to get a few things done around the house with a new baby.
I love carrying my baby! My best tip is to find a store or group where ou can try out a bunch of different carriers with your child- there are so many different carriers and babies out there that you shouldn't write off baby wearing just because your baby doesn't like one particular carrier.
Love it! Have always wanted one.
I like babywearing when out for a walk (so I can manage the dog's leash, too) or doing tasks around the house.
I am pregnant with my first, and definitely plan to wear my baby I have heard much positive feedback on Moby wraps!
My best tip is to wear your little one while shopping. Forget about the car seat in the cart, your little one will be much happier (and not as grabby) when close to you.
I am planning on wearing my baby. We are TTC. 2013 our rainbow baby will here!
We love baby wearing – especially for getting housework done while soothing a needy baby!
Oh I love the moby's!
I do wear my babies and have worn all regularly except my oldest. All I could find 19 years ago was a cheap crotch dangler. It was uncomfortable for us both so we didn't use it very often. When my second child was a baby I found an Over the Shoulder Baby Holder and that's when it all began. I played around with that sling, wore my baby out on trips and errands. It had a good long life. I tried my hand at making more carriers but they never seemed to work well. I've worn 3 more babies in 7 different carriers. My advice is study your instruction manual until you know your carrier well. Watch videos on youtube on how to use it. Babies can smell fear and if you're nervous about wearing them they don't generally like to be worn. If you know what you're doing they'll usually settle right in if you give them a little walk and a bounce to calm them.
Hmm… Do it as often as you can! My baby loves to be snuggled close to me!
No baby to wear yet, but I plan to when she arrives this spring!
I do wear my baby. My best advice would be to start early.
For newborns that are fussy use the Moby Wrap and vacuum wearing baby! It's really soothing for some and will put them right to sleep with the white noise and closeness of your body.
I love the moby wrap and really hope I get one for my little bundle on the way!
I love the moby wrap and really hope I get one some how for my little bundle on the way!
Yes. I wear my baby. Mostly when she is tired, because even at two months old she already wants to be able to look around if shes not sleepy.
I don't babywear at the moment, so I don't have any tips just yet. Sorry.
I don't baby wear yet.
I loved wearing my babies! My best advice is to make sure you have a good carrier/wrap and make sure you use it! Life will be easier.
I don't have any great baby-wearing tips…but I would love to hear others! With my daughter being my first, when she got beyond the newborn phase, we tried a carrier, but the first one was awful. Eventually, I found another one that was better, but we haven't used it that much (and it has been difficult on my back). I think with the next child I would definitely like to use it more- as I felt like I could accomplish hardly anything when DD was very small.
I wore my son when he was several months old. Wish I would have started earlier, and that would be my advice! I could have gotten so much more done during his newborn days.
I didn't with my son but I definitely plan to with my daughter who is due in the next few weeks! I would love to know some others advice on wearing!
Love the Moby
I wear my baby from time to time
Love wearing my baby. I have heard great things about the moby and would love to try it!
I need this for my baby coming in March!!!
I need this for my baby coming in March!!
No baby to wear but when September comes around I plan on it!
I did. Mostly when I did laundry becuase we lived on the second story of an apartment and it was cold so we shared daddys jacket with his little face peeping out.
I am "wearing" my baby inside so far, but definitely plan to wear him/her on the outside soon I have heard great feedback from friends on Moby wraps.
I don't yet,but plan too!
Pregnant with twins right now, but I definitely see baby wearing in the future. Eventually I am hoping to wear one baby and put the other in the stroller when we go out so that I can avoid dragging the giant double stroller everywhere!
I have worn all 5 of my babies, but what I have used has evolved. 😉
I did not do much baby wearing with my first (6 years old now). But since having him I learned about baby wearing and see how wonderful it it. I'm currently pregnant with my 2nd baby & am already plotting what I will use to carry him. I have a few things to start with & it's exciting!
I've worn both of my kids and will any future babes, too! Katy C. dragon _ at _ heart 04 @ hotmail . com
I have an Ergo baby I am excited to try and wouldn't mind trying a Moby wrap too! Although I'm a little intimidated by them. They look quite complicated.
would love a moby!
I love babywearing!! Hands free to keep going about your daily chores and baby loves it too!!
I wore DD in a boba wrap when she was a bit older. I want a wrap to wear new baby!
I wore DD in a boba when she was older and plan to wear new baby!
I have used slings and an infantino carrier and it's a lifesaver. Baby #2 wants to be held non stop! The sling makes it do I can get something done.
Yes, I used a Moby with my first and plan to use it even more with the second!
I would love to wear my baby when she arrives!!!
I am pregnant with my first and definitely plan to wear my baby. Love the Moby wrap!
No tips yet! I'm expecting our first and plan to wear him.
I used a few different carriers for my first born (now 2) but no wraps. I would love to have a Moby wrap for the new baby!
My second LO is coming in a few months and with a toddler, I would love to have the wrap!
Baby wearing is the best way to comfort a crabby baby. I wore my son in a mei tai when he was a little older. I'd love a moby for when baby #2 gets here!
Baby wearing is a great way to comfort a crabby baby! I wore DS when he was older in a mei tai. I'd love a moby for when baby #2 gets here!
I wear #2 with a woven wrap most days. my advice is to find a Babywearing group to try out a few different carriers so that you can find the one (or two or three) that you love
Would LOVE one of these for our new baby! Wanted one with the first, but never did get one.
my pointer especially with a moby wrap is put the wrap on before you leave the house because sometimes it will get on the ground as you are trying to wrap it.
Yes, I wore 4 of my 5 babies. I found it way more convienient than pushing a stroller and it keeps my son calm when we are out.
I'm a ring sling fanatic. Still wear my toddler in my sling. Mostly on my back and even my baby wearing friends are surprised by the many uses if a ring sling. But with the little one we have on the way I would love a moby to wear a new born in so I could keep the sling for my toddler
Would live this for the baby we have on the way. I'm a ring sling fanatic, I still wear my toddler in it
I love babywearing and it was a back saver. It is also great when you go out during the flu season since you can keep baby close and covered.
Not yet, she isn´t born yet, but I sure will!
I love babywearing! We have an assortment of slings and carriers, but no wrap yet.
I've worn my toddler since he was born an continue to. My advice is to try different carriers. If one doesn't work, don't be discouraged because there's a lot of options out there!
I love my homemade ring sling for when baby is older but my baby bjorn original carrier is by far the best. All 3 of my kiddos loved it the most! None of them wanted wrapped.
I wear but only on occasion, could only afford a sling but he loves it !
I wear my son, he will be 2 in 2 weeks. The best advice I can give is to invest in a really nice carrier. I bought a cheaper one and it was hell on my back. I recently used a very nice one from a friend and it was a dream.
I love wearing my baby. I can have a happy content baby and still have two hands to take care of other things. Its a win win. I only have one wrap and I wish I had another. If you only have one wrap to my advice and make sure you wash it when baby is sound asleep or everyone might be crying and dinner postponed even longer (hope thats not just me)! Would love to win this!
I have a moby wrap and I think that it may not be best carrier for everyone, but I think that it is an affordable option.
I wore my toddler when she was younger. I'm now expecting #2 and can't wait to start babywearing right away! It's the easiest way to be close to your baby and have the ability to care for your home and older children at the same time.
I don't yet, but a Moby wrap is on my wish list for the little one coming this summer! I
The best tip I have for baby wearing is to not give up if the first try is somewhat awkward. It took us a few times with my first to get used to a baby carrier, but once we did, my little one loved it!
I'm dying for the olive green one! I have the black one and love it, but would love the green!
Love love love baby wearing!!!!!
I do wear my baby. We have an old carrier though and it is very uncomfortable after an hour or so of wearing him so I am trying to find a new carrier/wrap. My friend has a Moby Wrap and loves it so I would love to try this one out. My tip for baby wearing is to find a way to test out multiple carriers/wraps and see which one works best for you and baby!
My son isn't here yet, but I am definitely planning on wearing him. My husband bought me a Boba carrier for Christmas, but I would love a Moby too!
I need this so bad!I have heard they are the best!
I look forward to wearing my baby when I have it this summer
I can't wait to wear my baby this summer!! Due August 1st!!!
Baby wearing makes things so much easier! I wore my first born all the time, and will wear the next one too! Love being able to have my hands free!
Baby wearing makes things so much easier! I love being able to have my hands free, but still have my little one close by!
My baby girl is due in March…so I have been wearing her for over 7 months, but bought the Moby wrap for my best friend when she had her own little girl and would love to have one for my LO when she arrives!
Baby wearing is how I keep my house in order when my husband isn't home. It's also how we make it through the times when our daughter is teething & wants to be held all the time! She loves being so close to us and to see what we are doing up close. 😉
I put my little guy in the carrier when he was small to carry around the house while I did housework. He was very colicky and the only time he slept during the day was when I held him. It worked really well when I went on a walk also because my hands were free to walk our dogs. A moby wrap would be a great addition to my ability to wear my baby!
yes! Both of my girls loved my Ergo & ring sling. I would love a moby to wear my friend's baby who I've been watching a few days a week.
I do not wear my baby because I need a wrap or carrier! lol
I have never wore my baby but would love to
My tip is to buy used if you don't know what kind of carrier you'd like.
We have a Pikkolo, Ergo and Kelty TC 3.0 for our 15 month old. I don't do it now that he's older, but when he was younger I would nurse in the Pikkolo often. Just drop it down a little and shift to one side!
I loved baby wearing, my issue is that I stopped for a bit and now my youngest won't do it at all. I wish I would have done it more regularly so she would be used to it. Planning on baby wearing even more with #3 on the way.
I love baby wearing! Have an extra shirt! I always leaked without realizing while baby was in her carrier! hahaa
Can't wait to wear my second so that I can snuggle with him and still play with my first!
LOVE the Moby!!
I tried to do baby wearing, but the sprout pouch I have isn't the best. I can't seem to ever get it figured out.
I do want to babywear more but my baby is so big it's uncomfortable sometimes so I'd love to try a Moby and see how it works for me!
I'm expecting my first in April and I'm looking forward to wearing my baby around town!
whats baby wearing? im new at this
I don't yet, but I will when baby gets here.
I wear my baby up until they reach around 20lbs, then they get too heavy
I use the ergo & original moby wrap for my little ones
I use the ergo & original moby with my little ones
A Moby Wrap was a life saver with my first baby!
I keep trying, but my daughter screams and cries!! She doesn't like to face in! I am waiting for her to be old enough to be carried on my back. I hope she will like that!
Wish I had one of these with my first two. Definitely need one for the next! Thanks for the opportunity to win one!
I have worn 4babies now! My best tips are don't wait start early and don't keep trying of baby gets upset! I made this mistake recently when I tried to use my wrap carrier. He got upset and I just wanted to get him in it. Needless to say we let it go for the day.
I love wearing my babies… I wear them when I'm busy with the older kids and it keeps the baby happy!
Try to find a local babywearing group so u can try on several carriers to find what u like best b4 you invest in ur own.
Moby wraps are a lot nicer on your back from what I've heard
These are a million times easier on your back!
I will when she comes!
I have 5 children- babywearing is a MUST
This sounds fun! I have never heard of this! I would love to try this!
I will be wearing my baby once he gets here in April. I think the moby wrap is the best way to carry your baby.
I will once our little one comes. Thanks for the chance to win!
Love the Moby! It's the only way I manage to get housework done often. I would love to win one for a friend.
I love my Moby! It's the only way I manage to get housework done usually. It is one of my most used baby items and I highly recommend them! I would love to win one and gift it to a friend! 😉
If they resist or don't like it at first, don't give up! Try again later. My daughter didn't like being in wrap for more than a few minutes until recently, now she is 8 months old and loves when we wear her.
LOVED MY MOBY for my first! Both my hubby and I wore our lil guy all the time. My best friend and I are both due in May, so I hope to win so we can babywear together!
I did with my second. Loved it! I have a boba and a wrap. Both were used often. I would say my tip would be to have a few options. If you get just getting into baby wearing. Try different ones.
I did more with our second than first, but I didn't like my carrier. It did help her to be less fussy. I didn't know much about baby wearing with our first two. But I plan to wear our third all the time when he comes in May!
We have not been a diaper wearing family yet. We are still trying to find a carrier that my daughter will tolerate. She cries when we put her in most of them. I would love to try a Moby Wrap to try something more comfortable for her!
