Yes, please enter me into the contest! I don't know what I prefer yet as we're still about 14 weeks away from meeting our little one. But I'd LOVE to add these diapers to our stash!

Though I did not start cloth diapering my son until he was 12 months and already in the fitted large size, I prefer one size. All the one size diapers will be great if we have a second child. We can start him/her on cloth the moment he/she is born without having to worry about buying loads more!

sized, there's less room for error if you know what I mean.

I prefer one-size diaper for the versatility. I like that they will last on my Little Miss for so long.

I liked sized diapers when the LO was a newborn – most one size were too bulky at that point. But once she was a bit bigger, I have transitioned to one size diapers.

  29. JRT said...

I prefer sized cloth diapers. They tend to be trimmer. I hate the dreaded "diaper waddle" on smaller babes, and then there is the opposite dynamic on my 2 year old. "One size" cloth diapers tend to be "low rider" on him, as he is taller with a larger rise.

  30. mhacwhitney said...

I have a chunky baby and my experience has been that the sized diapers fit better, however, we do have some OS diapers that work great also.

I like the convenience of one size but prefer the fit of sized. I have both in my stash.

  37. Iris said...

I prefer one sized cloth diapers. In my opinion, you get more use out of them then the sized diapers. I have a 9 month old girl who weighs 25 pounds and is almost 30 inches long. I doubt I would have gotten that much use out of sized diapers. She still fits into her one size diapers with room to spare.

  44. emilieblogs said...

We absolutely prefer the convenience and cost-savings of one sized adjustable diapers! It's good to know that, with more than one child in diapers, I'm rarely at the mercy of running out of one of their sizes at any point in time. A little snap here or elastic adjustment there, and we're good to go! :)

I only have one-sized diapers for our baby coming in May, which I think I prefer over sized diapers because it doesn't seem like you would need as many OSed as sized…we'll see!

  49. angela jiniel said...

I'm still pregnant so I haven't used either yet, but I think I prefer the one-sized just because they can be used for so much longer during baby-hood!

  50. Nate and Aimee said...

I prefer sized diapers for how they look…but mostly use one-size pockets for my 22 month old for convenience and price.
However, I have a bunch of sized fitteds waiting for my baby due anytime now!

  51. Amy said...

We have the most luck with one sized diapers. The one size will be really handy when baby number 2 comes in October!

In doing my research for cloth diapering, I concluded that One sized diapers were just a smarter way to go. Granted, I could in theory make some of my money back by selling the smaller size, but in the long term, the savings for cloth diapers would diminish with having to buy more diapers overall.

I often "window" shop online, because we can't always afford the cloth diapers. So it would be wonderful to win some new ones to try out and add to our collection of 7 cloth diapers. I enter all the time, hoping to win, but it doesn't happen. EVER! I'm not very lucky! Ha ha! I guess the only luck I have is my sweet daughter!

So, if I had to re-purchase an entire stash, I think I would buy sized diapers until they are like 3 months old (I really dislike the bulk) and then one-sized from then on. That being said, I still LOVE my gdiapers:-)

I don't really have a preference between one size and sized diapers. Honestly, one size diapers seem to make up the majority of the market so they make up the majority of my stash. But for the newborn and small stage sized diapers are a must to cut back on the bulk.

  680. When my baby was a 5lb newborn up to about 9 lbs I liked the sized because the OS were too bulky. Since he's got bigger, I only want OS. I don't have to buy new as he grows. This is convenient and economical. I do still have 4 sized AIOs I use on occasion for a super trim look.

I prefer one size diapers purely for the money factor. I will soon have two in cloth and it will be much easier to use the same diapers on both.

So far, I have liked one-sized when it comes to pockets and covers, but for my (very few) fitteds and (stash that mostly consists of) pre-folds, we have a range of sizes. One size seems economical, but I also want diapers that will last through a few children and that much wear and tear and wash takes its toll on a one-size.

I think I'll like the one-size best, since my budget won't allow me to buy the many diapers that might be required for the sized.
