its time for fluff friday 96 @diapershops #clothdiapers, this week it's FLIP!!!
We recently started buying some Flip diapers for our little one on the way, so I would just add some of the disposable inserts for travel.. Only 3 more weeks until we get to meet him! = )
Also added as a fan on FB..
I would use Flip or prefolds.
I am a fan of the facebook page.
Hmm.... maybe flats because they'd be so easy to wash & dry. Plus - they could be useful for other purposes. But also have some Best Bottoms... and something like that would be easy to wash too.

We had to do this recently and we ended up going with disposables. I really wanted to use covers with disposable inserts, but in the end it was a lot cheaper to buy disposables and easier, as we could get them along the way instead of carrying them all with us.

If I were traveling overseas I might invest in some flats and use with our wool and covers. Seems like it would be the easiest to wash under any circumstance, dry quickly, and not take up as much space in luggage.

What kind of diapering system would you use if you were traveling overseas?
Flips with their disposable inserts or with gdiaper flushies. That plane ride would be ROUGH with prefolds!
I'm a fan on the cloth whisperer facebook page.
I'd probably use a hybrid style so I could easily dispose of the inserts. I'd bring along some disposables, too. You never know if you'll have access to a laundry machine!
I follow the blog!
I would probably use my GroVia diapers for traveling. I'm not hugely fond of them (I don't think they do a good job catching poops), but they take up far less space and are easy to change, except when you have a poopy diaper.
I'm a FB fan.
If I was traveling overseas were I was unsure of washer/dryer use I'd go with GroVia (or Flip, but I've never tried the Flip system before).

I forgot to answer the question of the week!
I would use what I have now and that is BG's 3.0, Fuzzibunz and Swaddlebees Ecconappi's. I would bring my Rockin' Green and wash in a sink or a tub :)
All of my pockets even ones that I don't like as much.
I think I might use flats and covers if I were traveling overseas - easiest to hand wash and if I did have washer access, flats aren't as picky what kind of detergent you use. :)

I'd probably call ahead and find out if the place we were staying had a diaper service - I am assuming this trip is a vacation after all. Or I'd bring my own cloth diapers and find a laundrymat.

I would probably do Flips with the disposable inserts, even though I only do cloth at home. I am in love with cloth, but can't imagine having to wash them while away.
I would use something like the flip or grovia system or prefolds and covers. Just depends on what kind of access to a washer I would have

Flip system with disposable inserts.
I liked you on FB.
It really depends on how long we were going for and to where. It would depend on whether i had access to a washer or not also. My boyfriend is from Peru and if we were going there I am sure I would use cloth... probably a combo of whatever brand i have (since i have almost nothing yet) and if we were only going for a short time i would probably just use the normal and leave them in the wet bag, if longer than a week I would probably use a combination of disposable and cloth, maybe a cloth with atleast disposable inserts...
I am a fan on facebook as well as a fan of diapershops.com on facebook- Samantha Friederick. I also follow the blog. Depending on the vacation I would use disposables due to convience.
probably what I use at home- Prefolds and covers and a few pockets.

Flips! I'd use the disposable inserts while in transit and the cloth once we'd reached our destination.

Ew... We hate sposies... So I would seriously just have to suck it up and use our cloth. There are washers in other countries... I might use some disposable inserts on our way over, if I found some I liked, but I haven't tried any yet.

i would probably use disposables, it would depend how easily I could access a washer and dryer!
But if I could get to one occaisonally a disposable insert with reusable cover would be my first thought.
I would probably use the Flip diaper cover w/ insert system (or something like it) b/c it's so easy to wash on the go... and easy to change...
Would LOVE to have more flips!

If traveling overseas, I would probably use the gro-via shells with disposable inserts. I'd love to say that I would use full cloth, but I don't remember how accessible clothes washing is...I guess I could at least rinse and hang dry before packing them again. Good Question!! :) ~Brooke Canada

Ironic question! My husband & i are adopting a baby boy from ET. I cloth diaper my children at home, but I have been thinking of what kind of diapers I will use when we travel to bring him home.
Lots of things ran through mind, but I think that I have decided on using G diapers with the G disposibles. I already have the little G pants, all I will have to buy is the inserts! Perfect since we will not have access to a washing machine while in ET.

I can answer this one well because we actually HAVE moved overseas! We now live in Indonesia!
We used disposables while we were actually traveling. But now we are back in cloth and are very HAPPY using MotherEase One Size fitteds with wool covers! Not a single leak since we moved here 2 months ago -- okay there was one poop-squish-up-the-crack leak from a sposie!

For the flight, my husband would INSIST on disposables (I've already surrendered this argument). Once on land, I'd use my GroVia/GroBaby stash. It takes up the least amount of room both in the suitcase and in the wet bag.
