LOL Right now, I keep all of my dipes in a laundry basket, pre-stuffed and ready to go with the ones I use most on top and those I use/like least on the bottom. I have a hanging wet bag in my laundry room and a smaller wet bag that I keep in the laundry basket for the dirties!

My cloth diapers are separated on the top of the changing table. A cute paper storage box has my prefolds, already tri-folded and stacked with home-cut fleece liners (fabric remnants!). Well, I'm still pregnant with my first baby, so I haven't perfected a system yet, BUT I am super excited about cloth diapering, and getting ready so I have a system already finished in my mind!

I'm currently looking for a waist high, 3 or 4 drawer dresser so I can put a changing pad on top and not have to worry about a whole separate piece of furniture. I figure the top 2 drawers will be full of diaper supplies sorted into bins: prefolds, covers by color, then all in ones and pocket diapers by color, as well as extra wipes and wipe solution. The bottom drawers will be baby clothes and bedding. In my mind it's very organized and tidy!

I'm really glad to have found this blog, too. Having somewhere to go for good advice when I'm feeling nervous has been such a great thing! I feel less alone and more confident in my choice to use cloth now.

Answer to question of the week:
I have a large dresser with changing area built on top, so I use the top two drawers for the cd stuff I need to grab easily. The left drawer from right to left: cloth wipes, doublers/isnerts, fitted diapers. The top right drawer from left to right, prefolds, covers, fleece stay dry liners. I have a cute little basket that sits on the floor by the dresser for all my cute pockets and aios! :)

I actually use the shelves of the entertainment center for the diapers! haha Our 4 month old's diapers are on the top shelf of left side – inserts, covers, then pockets and AIO's side by side. Our 2 year old's diapers are on the top right side in the same manner, and on the shelf under hers are all the hybrid diapers and package of disposable inserts!

I use flat folds, so generally all of my diapers are folded up in a bin, which is under the changing table. To one side of the bin are the covers, and to the other are "nap" doublers. We have two fancy pockets, and a used third (I really need a new one!) that are put to the side for night time diapers. We go through about 2/3 of the flats every two days, when we have laundry (at night, while watching movies-so easy).

We still have a fairly small stash so organization is pretty simple.

The pre-stuffed pockets and the AIO go in a basket on top of the dresser (used as our changing table) so they are ready for anyone else who changes her to grab.

There are 3 small baskets in the first big drawer of the dresser, one holds the prefolds, one holds the fitteds, and one holds the covers. All the little accessories like snappis, liners I have cut from fleece, extra elastic etc are in the top small drawer.

I have 6 canvas boxes under my changing table. I have them sorted by fitteds, covers, AIO's, microfleece liners I have cut out, and pajamas. I have cloth wipes in a disposable wipe box on the table and a shelf for snappies, bottom wash spray, and rash cream above the table. I have it in my bathroom so it's fast and easy clean up for me! I also have a hamper for dirtl clothes and wipes (since I like to use fabric softener on them) and a diaper pail.

We have our change table right next to the closet, so we have one of those hanging shelf things in there that we keep prefolded prefold/flats, then there are two shelves on the change table. On the top shelf we have 3 baskets, one for fitteds, on for diaper cream, lotion, etc. and the third one for PUL covers. The bottom shelf i have the infant prefolds stacked, because we use them for extra absorbency, then next to those we have doublers stacked and next to those is all the wool. Then all of our aio's are in constant rotation for daycare.

    Submitted at:Kelly's Closet
High Quality Diaper! So very soft.
    bythegregoryswifefromProvo, UTon8/27/ 2010

    Pros:
    Good Value,Fold Well,Soft
    Cons:
    PUL is a little stiff
    Best Uses:
    Crawlers,Infants,Toddlers
    Describe Yourself:
    First Time Parent
I love this diaper. The microchamois inner is so very very soft. I just love to touch it. The inner gussets are also great and I have had no problems with poop! I'm loving the newborn insert to reduce bulk with my 7-wk-old. I also love how there are four rise settings – I just wish I'd had this when he was a newborn! I could have maximized my usage of the smallest rise. It does feel a little stiff to put on, mostly from the loop closure across the front, but not enough to remove this from the favorite diapers pile!

Well, I'm pregnant with my first, so I'm just building my stash (so excited!) but I think once it's done, I'll organize by color so I can match them to outfits. Perhaps I'll use cute fabric bins.

I organize them by kind and then by size. One-size pocket diapers on the left, all-in-ones in the middle left, fitted diapers in the middle right, and prefolds on the left. Usually my covers are in use or hanging on hooks, but if any are clean and unused I keep them next to the prefolds. I also try to buy my sized diapers and covers in similar colors (newborn/xs in pale yellows, small in light green, medium in oranges and pinks, large in blues and purples) to help my husband keep them straight. I hope this will be helpful when I have two in diapers at the same time.

I have baskets under my changing table. One for covers, one for microfiber inserts, one for hemp inserts for nighttime, and two for pocket diapers. I also have a stack of prefolds that aren't in a basket. The microfiber inserts, covers, and prefolds are on one shelf, the pocket diapers and hemp inserts (and the pocket diapers I put them in) are on another shelf. That is, when my daughter isn't "reorganizing" them for me!

  606. I organzie my cloth diapers by color, then by load (I have 24-26, so I do loads every other day), so the older load gets used first. It's so I wear my diapers evenly, and I have them neatly stacked in a diaper organizer, one side is my doubles for night use, and the other side is my singles for day use. They are conviently right next to my changing area along with my pail! :-)

I use an old china cabinet that had the glass broken out of it. I seperate is by brand and stack them all up. On the top I keep cloth wipes and in the drawer on the bottom I keep extra inserts and prefolds, snappis, pins etc.
