My perfect diaper would be a sized reusable shell or cover in bright, unique, gender-neutral patterns. Patterns like jewel-tone polka dots, natural-color-family argyle, fun animals, etc.. It would have natural fiber inserts (hemp or cotton), or also fit regular prefolds.
Oooh, I like this, but I may not be able to pick just one. How about a perfectly fitting snapping fitted made of cotton (well, your post on hemp might change that option), paired with a super-soft bullet-proof wool cover.

I would love a diaper that is truely a One size even for the chunkey babe and the new born. One that elastic is heavy duty and that has snaps. I would love for it to have a pocket with a hemp insert or something radicaly absorbent like Greenhorn super sleeper. and have it be All in one but not soo darn expensive. :) That would be sweet!

My ideal diaper would be an AIO one-size that is lean fitting and dries quickly. It wouldn't need extra stuffing for overnight and would come in red. You said dream diaper, right? :-)

My diaper would be an AIO, the outside of the diaper would be wool and the inside would be very soft in the inside, and somewhere in the middle it would hve hemp in it so I wouldn't have to keep buying hemp liners anymore. It would have a velcro enclosure that would stay closed in the wash.

The perfect diaper would be a pocket diaper that has snap closures, easily replaceable/adjustable elastic (like Fuzzi Bunz os) with the feature that makes it one size being like the front snap closure on bum genius 3.0. The inserts would be made of hemp/bamboo material to avoid stink issues.

I would say a pocket diaper with snaps! And a one size (says a mom who will soon have multiple kids/sizes in diapers -- only one size diaper to pack in a diaper bag!).

I don't know if made a comment in time, but here goes! I would do something similar to the smartipants...no removing inserts, snaps and trim! I love them!
I would like a snap-in insert with a fleece layer close to the skin to wick the moisture away and bamboo or hemp on the other side.
perfect diaper? I love my monkey snuggles diaper. Not sure I would change a thing
