Fluff Friday #498 – Geffen Baby Absorbers

If you are a cloth diaper parent you have probably had at least one leak that has frustrated you. Cloth diapers are great; but all diapers (even disposables) have a limit on how much they can absorb. If we fill our babies with milk before bedtime and continue to feed them upon request overnight and don’t change their diapers; then you’ll likely experience leaks because the diaper just cannot hold that much urine. Now I know we don’t want to wake the baby for a diaper change; but if they are up for a feeding consider changing their diaper quickly before you feed them. It always seems like the late in the year hurricanes are the biggest, strongest and scariest storms of the year. Last year I had to face my first real hurricane decisions when Irma decided to change paths and head directly towards Tampa, Florida. About a week before Irma made landfall we sat there making decisions that I’m sure many of you reading this now are trying to make. “Should we evacuate?” “Where will we go?” “How will we get there?” “What if….” I can say that was probably the hardest decision we’ve ever had to make, should we stay or should we go. I was ready to pack up and leave because I had a feeling it was going to be bad; but we stayed because my husband travels for work and I didn’t want to leave without him. I didn’t want to pack up the kids and our belongings and leave him home when he got back from his trip. If you wait too long to leave, you may get stranded on the highway out of town which will most likely become a parking lot. Or you’ll run out of gas along the way because all the stations have run empty. Seriously, the anxiety behind making that decision to stay or go was the hardest part. IF YOU DECIDE TO LEAVE, LEAVE EARLY!! Especially if you’re traveling with babies, …
